Fishing was tough this past week with the NW and East winds. Fortunately, strong south winds have warmed the inshore waters and pushed fish into the Holland/Saugatuck area. On 6/9 we found a pocket of cold water in 90-110ft right in front of Holland. We pulled a few kings and steelhead from this. We then made a move west and hit fish from 135-180. Riggers with Meat rigs, 11" white paddles and spoons have taken fish but are certainly the least productive rods on the boat. Kevin's Girlfriend, Mtn Dew, Blue Balls and Kevorkian Meat rigs remain hot on a high divers back 130-150. Wire out-fished braid yesterday. 200ft of Blood Run copper paired with a Silver Streak UV Mag Blue Dolphin rocked. 3/5/7 colors of core all took fish with a Streak Mini Mixed Veggies, Super Slim Magic Man, and Stinger coyote. We ended 16/22 with a mix of kings, steelhead, lake trout and coho. Boats I talked with did very well in the evening as well with some very nice kings being caught.
